When Molly got up she saw her family coming back from buying groceries and went to help get the bags inside. Sophie was feeling weird since she had just been hit with the ray and had to sit down from the sudden dizziness.
"Are you ok dear?" asked her mom.
"Uh, yeah.. I'm.. I'm fine, it's nothing..go ahead, I'll just relax outside" she reassured.
Everyone else got back inside, and Molly forgot the gun near the mailbox, unaware that her little sister was just hit by it.
Sophie was sitting on the sidewalk, looking down at her feet when she saw something strange. She was admiring the pink nail polish on her feet when she felt a tingling sensation running through her. It's then that she saw her feet slowly expanding with her flipflop. "Uh?" she then looked at her hands and saw them getting longer. Same pink polish was applied to her fingernails as well. Getting up, Sophie could see her parents car slowly shrinking before her. "No way, am I finally getting a growth spurt?" she said excitingly.
Looking down, she watched her perfect tanned legs getting longer. Sophie was amazed that her clothes were keeping up with her. Dark blue skirt stretching to fit her growing hips and legs while her White and Dark blue tank top stretched to accommodate her enlarged breasts and fit torso. Sophie smiled when she saw her parents car only coming up to her waist. She watched it shrink until it came up to her knees and stood there, watching the car shrink ever smaller. "Wow, and I keep going up, I wonder how tall I'm going to end up" she said, not bothered at all by how big she was becoming. To her, it was simply as if she was finally getting her adolescent growth spurt.
Sophie giggled as she lifted her foot over her father's BMW and gently rested on it. She let it rest on it for a couple of minutes until her foot was big enough that she couldn't see the car anymore, she then applied pressure. It was more fragile than she thought as her foot went right through it and pressed it into a flat piece of scrap metal. "Oops" she giggled again. Sophie then saw a sparkle of light coming down near the mailbox. She crouched down to take a look and picked up the object that was resting on the pavement. To her amazement, the object grew to her size when she touched it. Not wondering what it was yet, she putted it inside her waist.
Bringing her hands on her hips, Sophie smiled as she could now see above all trees and houses in the neighborhood. "Wow, this is so cool, I'm still getting taller, and it isn't stopping" she laughs. Sophie stood where she was, growing, and happy that her growth spurt was still going.
