It looked like Tom Nook was hiring an assistant for his shop, he's been pretty good to you since you got to Apple Falls when it came to financial stuff. He could still be a jerk, and was terrible to people who weren't paying him, but you figured you owe him for getting you a sweet deal on your house.
So you decided to get up and go over to the real estate office where Tom Nook currently worked. Tom greeted you with the typical formal hello of a businessman and asked, "You here to make another payment?" You explain to him that your in need of work and he grins, "Well I could always use more hands down at Nookington's, they're always busy. But I could use an assistant here too, If you don't mind working at either place whenever I ask, I could hire you immediately." You eagerly say yes and sign the contract without reading it, much to Tom's delight.
He gets up, noticing the office was empty aside from the two of you, and he grins evilly, "Thanks for signing the contract little human slave. Now get on your knees under my desk." You soon realize you really should've read the contract, but since you need th money, you get under the desk. "My chair's been smelling funny as of late, sniff it for me." You lean in and sniff the seat, which smells like he thought It was a toilet at some point. You look up and admit it smells pretty bad. He grins and commands, "Well for your first job, you'll sniff the chair until it doesn't stink so bad. I can't pay you for this job, but this month's rent will be free." You really didn't want to keep smelling it, but you couldn't pass up that kind of payment, so you put your head back into the seat while Tom Nook...
