"Honey, I'm home." Your mom says as she walks in the door.
"Hey." You respond before going back to staring at your phone.
"I got a new job." You pop up, this is great. It has been really hard since your mom got laid off from teaching at the nearest public school.
"Great, good for you. When do you get paid?" You ask.
"After the first month. There is one thing though. We are going to have to move, and you are going to have to go to the school." It was a little annoying that you would be leaving your friends but you could make new ones, they weren't that great.
"That's not too bad, when do we leave?"
"Tomorrow, um... yeah. You should get a week of clothes packed, the rest will get shipped." Your mom looks like she has something else to say but you leave it be.
As she said you go upstairs and get some clothes packed. Once you get your suitcase full, you start telling your friends you'll be leaving. You pretend to be sad, and they start crying. Once you finish that you go and have dinner with your mom.
She seems to be avoiding something throughout the meal.
"Mom, you seem like you're hiding something or there's something you don't want to talk about."
"Well, honey, there is one thing about the school. It's an all guy's military school...
