"Jeez, this is weird..."
Maya's observation was fair. She was standing next to the leg of her skyscraper-high duplicate, staring down the soft fabric wall of a positively massive set of medium's robes, and while she figured it would probably be fairly easy to climb up using the fabric, the whole experience was incredibly surreal.
(Here goes...!)
Grabbing onto the fabric and jumping from the floor, Maya was glad to find that it could easily support her weight. So, scrambling up using fistfuls of the silken garment, she began her climb, making her way up to the top of her double's resting leg without too much trouble. She got her own bare feet back down on solid ground, resting for a few seconds.
She could just walk across the double's lap to reach her waist from here, and then climb the rest of the way. The remainder would be harder, but she'd been through all kinds of difficult training before, so this probably wouldn't be too tough.
Walking along, taking occasional glances up at both the glowing Magatama hanging from the double's neck, and the double's actual face beyond that point, she felt a distinct sense of foreboding, like the double was going ot intervene and make this task much harder for her somehow. The gigantic copy wasn't moving much right now, but it was easy to imagine her causing some serious trouble if she did.
"Hmm..."
Maya hesitated, thinking the next step over. If she climbed right up past the double's stomach from here, she would have to make her way up the swell of her chest above to reach the Magatama.
She felt a bit self-conscious all of a sudden. Sure, she didn't have huge boobs like her late sister, but hers had certainly gotten bigger with time...
This was a pointless train of thought. If she went with the plan to go straight up from here, she would have a tricky bit of work to get past her double's chest. The other option was to use the sash tied around the double's waist to circle around to her back. No doubt that would make an easier climb, though she would have to go further to reach her goal. Still, if she scaled the double's shoulder to reach her necklace, making it to the Magatama would be a snap.
