Pearly with the Plot

    by: Unknown
"Mr. Nick! Mystic Maya! Look at what I found in Kurain Villaige!" 8 year-old Pearl Fey exclaimed with a joyous tone as she ran into the Wright and Co. Law Offices, a smile on her face. Phoenix was in his chair sorting out some files, while Maya was watering Charley.

"Hi, Pearly!" Maya greeted her younger cousin with a hug, leaving her watering can behind. Phoenix got out of his chair and hugged the two Fey mediums.

"Hey, Pearls! What did you find?" Phoenix asked with a small smile. Pearl probably found something small and cute and wanted to show it to her cousin.

"Yeah, show us, Pearly!" Maya chanted with her hands placed together as she smiled down at Pearl.

"It's a special Magatama that I found in some bushes." Pearl stated, and she held out an orange magatama. It was shiny but had some cracks on it.

"I've never seen that type of magatama before." Maya said with a hand on her cheek, thinking to herself. "I wonder what it does."

"Maybe if we give it some spiritual power it can show us what it does!" Pearl suggested with an innocent smile.

"Well... I guess it couldn't hurt to try." Phoenix said while scratching at the back of his head. He had a slight feeling of concern with this idea, but he didn't want to disappoint Pearl.

"Okay! Here goes!" Pearl said with enthusiasm, and she began to channel her spiritual power into the magatama. Soon, there was a bright light emitting from the small stone, but it didn't seem like a light of hope.

"Uh, Pearly? I think you should..." Maya tried to tell Pearl to stop, but the light engulfed her and Phoenix, who uttered a frightened at this sudden event. Pearl had her eyes closed, which was why she didn't see what was happening. At the same time, some sort of mysterious force was stopping her from hearing the shouts around her. Everything faded out from Phoenix and Maya's visions as they passed out.

"Ugh..." Phoenix and Maya groaned as they regained consciousness.

"Man, we should be more careful." Maya said while stretching a bit. "Pearly's innocence can be dangerous at times!"

"Uh, yeah-... I think we do need to be careful, Maya!" Phoenix shouted with concern.

Maya wondered what Phoenix was talking about, but as she looked around, the truth slowly became obvious. The two of them were tiny! They appeared to have been transported to a table next to the couch in the office.

"H-how did this happen!?" Phoenix stammered, as this couldn't have been possible by any kind of logical deductions.

"W-well, we've seen a lot of strange things, Nick!" Maya shouted back at Phoenix. "M-maybe we can..."

BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!

Phoenix and Maya heard a loud series of crashing sounds, and their jaws dropped when they saw Pearl enter the room from the nearby kitchen. She remained unaffected by the magatama, and she had a worried look on her face.

"M-Mr. Nick! M-Mystic Maya...!? Where did you go!?" Pearl shouted with tears in her eyes.

"Oh, Nick...! She's worried about us!" Maya said, feeling pity for Pearl.

"We need find a way to get her attention." Phoneix said, forcing himself to be calm.

There were a number of ways they could try to get Pearl's attention. Which of these options did they go with?
