Not really knowing if this 'power' was real or a matter of fiction, Carly decided it was a little too risky to test it out in the salon. Just in case it was real, she didn't want chaos or hysteria to run rampant. She turned to her assistant and best friend. "Zoe, I think I am going to nip over at Wilkos for a moment to see what they have on promotion."
Zoe, seemingly not too phased at what was going on, nodded her head. "We're not too busy here and I think we could use some supplies." She replied as she looked over at the front of the store, where Kay, the receptionist, was substituting any work that needed to be done with a new game on her phone. She took a quick moment to jot down a few items on a piece of paper and gave it to Carly. "Here, I think that will just about do it." Carly graciously took the note from her and made her way out the door.
With Wilkos not being too far from the salon, Carly found her way there in almost no time flat. She walked through the automatic doors and saw her friends working vigorously to get ready for the upcoming holiday and the summer season. So, she grabbed a shopping trolley and started to go down the main aisle. "Hey Carly." Steven greeted his old friend as she passed by the aisle he was working with Jessica. She waved to him and continued to look around the store. Josh, the new guy from across the pond, was working with a couple customers, trying to help them look for an item they so desperately needed. Phoebe was working an aisle over, trying her best to get the work done since Josh had to leave her to help the customers. Becca was getting berated by Liz towards the back of the store.
"Yeah." Carly replied to herself as she took out her list and started her shopping. "I think this will be an excellent place to see if the gift I received is real or not." She started to find some of the items on the list.
