the trip back home

    by: Runner Author IconMail Icon
Rather than teleporting you and herself out, mom decided she rather drive.

"Why didn't teleport us out of there?" you asked.

"I think you're making a foolish decision, John" mom said.

"What?! It's my decision mom. Why did you even take me there? Are you trying to change me?' you demanded, suddenly fearful.

Mom tried to keep her voice even. "No, I am not. I took you there for you to see for yourself that magic isn't something to fear, and to pacify your desire to know what is happening. I did not count on you running into the troubled witches class, You must understand that some witches wouldn't even give you this option."

That really soured things and you remained silent for the rest of the trip home, despite it being several hours. When you finally got home, to your surprise, mom pulled up in front of Megan's house.

"What are you doing?" you demanded, frostily staring at mom.

"I need medical opinion, John. Katie knows about my abilities, and would keep this discrete" mom said as she grabbed your hand and lead you inside. Megan wasn't around, fortunately, but Dr Thompson was.

"What is going on, Natalie? I got a call from your mother" Dr Thompson asked.

"I took John for a tour of Witchbloom and he had an unfortunate encounter with some girls that thought rules don't apply to them" mom said, much to your ire. "Biology was never my strength. I need your opinion."

"Hey! I.." you tried to protest, but both women forced you inside, to the Thompson basement. To your shock, it looked like a full infirmary. It didn't take long for the prodding to commence.

"While you get your examination, John, I need to tell you some rules. First is you won't tell anyone about this place, especially Megan. If you do, I complete the transformation. Second, you won't tell anyone, except for Mel and Hayley, about magic, especially Megan or Harry. Again, violation will result in transformation, then I'll pick your wardrobe. Finally, you will avoid Samantha Forester at all costs" mom ordered.

The last condition threw you. "Why?" you asked, the look of cold fury momentarily breaking.

"She is a witch too, as you might have guessed and is an expert at gender transformation. Before you get your hopes up, she would more than likely complete the transformation herself. Then I'll put you into a ballgown simply for disobeying me. Sorry, I'm being so harsh... daughter. I honestly want you to beat this, but to be honest, I don't think you have a chance. You're just setting yourself for trouble. Katie, opinions?"

"You're guessed right. He.. she is completely changed internally, Haven't done a DNA test yet, but I can guess the results. Whoever did this mustn't liked you much as its extremely detailed. Other than that, there is nothing else I can tell you."

"So how long before she starts to develop?" mom asked, earning her another furious look.

"Maybe a couple of weeks. Nine days at the worst. I'm not a witch, Natalie. I'd be more afraid of her powers" Dr Thompson warned.
