Monica - A girl genius that specializes in the science of genetics. Having graduated high school a few years early, she was able to get a PhD in the topic of cloning by the time she was 20 and was even able to get funding from the government to work in her own home. Publishing her success on cloning small animals using her experimental cloning machine it kept the science board preoccupied as she pursued her own personal agenda. Unknown to them, she was actually in the process of cloning herself. The clone however has a small mutation in her DNA that has a large impact on her body. Specifically, she will keep getting bigger and bigger.
Penny - The first of her kind, Penny is a small anthropomorphic rat girl that was produced by splicing human and rat DNA. Despite being a test subject she enjoys being isolated to the lab she was born at. All the scientists at the lab were extremely kind and gentle towards her including her secret crush, Jake, who would bring her treats every night. With her own custom cage everything was perfect. Except for the fact that she was only a foot tall, an aspect that would always make her feel weak and inferior when she was held by the scientists. Luckily for Penny, Jake managed to convince the higher ups to allow him to carry out an experimental gene therapy procedure on her. By replacing a few genes he could stimulate Penny's body to carry out the necessary functions for growth until she becomes human-sized. However, her growth obviously won't stop there and she will just keep getting bigger.
