Applejack carried a basket over her head as she walked through the orchard. It was unlikely that any of the apples were ripe so soon but her brother was form over taking an early search. Glancing about the trees, Applejack took a moment to appreciate the visible health of the trees. Thier thick trunks, thier oversized height that would make her feel like a child, their leaves which would change color from green to yellow, orange, blue,red.......
Applejack stopped and turned to the tree, where did that blue color come from? Glancing into the trees, AJ could indeed see a blue color within the leaves. A blue color that was periodically shifting about. AJ growled as she put the basket down and walked to the tree. "It's too early fer this." Kicking the tree in a manner described to her by the Equestrian Twilight, AJ marked an X in a specific spot in the dirt. A few weak leaves fell down, followed by an eaten Apple core, which was then followed by the body of a teenager falling right on the X. "Darn it Rainbow, this is the third time this week." AJ knelt down and prepared to slap her friend silly. As she lifted her head though, she noticed the girl was still sleeping. Within that moment, a small thought entered the cowgirl's head. It was time to give Rainbow a punishment she wasn't about to forget.
"rainbow.....Rainbow....." The athletic girl yawned, thinking to herself. "Wow...that was an awesome power nap. Now to get out of the orchard before Applejack fi.....why can't I move my arms?" It was true, Rainbow couldn't move her arms or her legs for that matter. Opening her eyes, Rainbow found herself surrounded by large barrels with spouts of different sizes. In front of her was Applejack, smiling like a fox in an unguarded henhouse. "Hey AJ. Uhhhh...how's it going?" "Oh fine, fine really. Ah was just walkin through the orchard and looking about when ah noticed that ah had a trespasser." Rainbow gulped. "Uhhhh.....you better talk to Fluttershy then...." "Don't go playin dumb with me! Anyways, ah wondered what ah was gonna do with the dear and had an idea." Applejack pulled a jar of what appeared to be blue jelly from behind her. "We've got a load of jelly and after all that sleeping ah bet yer hungry."
