Applejack groaned as she moved to her chemistry class, her distaste clear on her face. She didn't hate the class, that wasn't the problem. The problem sat upon a certain girl that sat directly next to her. As she walked into the class, Applejack scowled at the very sight of the girl sitting the the desk next to her own. "Howdy Juicy Berry." Applejack said without even lookin to her. "Howdy herself Applejack." Juicy said in an equally unfriendly tone.
Juicy Berry. The minute her family came into town, things just seemed to fly south for Apple Jack's enjoyment. The Blueberry family might not be as widespread or as well known as the Apple family, but they seemed to be getting closer every day. Applejack and her family were never bothered by any Blueberry family members until Juicy Berry and her family moved in. The family immediately took up land not too far off from Sweet Apple Acres and started cranking out blueberry products like nobody's business. Some customers who weren't apple fanatics or close friends of the Apple family started turning their heads and wallets to the new family. Despite this, Applejack had tried to be friendly. However, when she had gone to the farmer's market one day. She became enraged at a blueberry stand standing where her family's stall usually went. That was when she first met Juicy Berry and the two certainly didn't hit it off. They were almost identical in personality except for one small difference. Juciy Berry seemed to be unbelievably certain that her family was better. She would often say to Applejack how her family would be working at Berry Blue Fields by the end of the year. The two bickered often and threats and a few sabatoges were flinged every now and again. The two had become quite the rivals, and nothing any of AJ's friends could say would keep AJ from such.
"So how does it feel AJ? Having to sit next to yer future employer?" She always asked that question. Applejack groaned at the girl's words, sick and tired of every day of this. Juicy smirked at AJ when she wasn't looking. Applejack didn't know it, but this time she was serious. Soon AJ would be a happy friend of both her and the Blueberry family.
