What the hell?? • Go Back...Chapter #4Kim is the new Senior Manager by: Vincanity   "Ok everybody, I know you have a busy day planned, so I won't take up too much of your time" Jim starts, as you sit with confidence. "As you all know, last month I announced my retirement, and as I am finishing up I have been searching for a replacement to take over as Senior Manager. Ever since I started working here, I have...." Jim continues on his boring speech.
As you wait in anticipation of the announcement, your eyes can't help but to wander the room and eventually they find Denise. She is staring at you with a sly smile on her face as she slowly kicks off her high heel, exposing her bare feet. She lifts her foot up so that you have a slight view of her sole and you cannot help but to stare with a look of horror on your face... She has you right where she wants you...
"... And that is why I have chosen to hire a new Senior Manager rather than to choose somebody internally. So I'd like you all to meet Kim, your new Senior Manager!" Jim announced.
"What??" You say out loud, snapping out of your daze. You notice Denise has a look of superiority on her face now, but her surprise seems to be mixed with delight... She is clearly loving this...
You don't believe you meant to shout out 'what' out loud, but you weren't exactly paying attention and now with your little outburst you have the attention of the entire room.
"Ummm... I just said that Kim here will be our new Senior Manager" Jim repeats to you.
It is now that you notice a new face sitting next to Jim. She is a bit older, but certainly attractive. But that's not the point, the point is that this bitch has taken your Senior Management position...
"Jim, that was my position, you had been planning on giving me the Senior Management position for months! What the fuck are you doing giving it to this bitch???" You say in an outburst.
Everybody in the room looks at you in shock... Denise no longer has a look of surprise on her face, now it is just a look of pure delight...As if she was watching your own self destruction. And let's face it, she may well be! And as for Kim, she has a look of utter disbelief as she watches you abuse the former Senior Manager and insult her simultaneously.
"Rob, this isn't really the time to be discussing this, and I th-"
"-I don't care what you think anymore... Just... I just... You know, whatever, I am still Junior Manager, so whatever..." You interrupt Jim, your anger getting the best of you.
You get up and walk out, unable to believe what has just happened. You walk briskly to your office and you slam the door shut. You sit down and take a deep breath. Ok, this is a pretty bad situation. You lost the Senior Management position to some middle aged red headed bimbo, you sweared at and abused that same bimbo, Denise is hell bent on making you kiss her feet and become her slave and on top of all of this, you abused the one man who could have possibly helped your situation a bit... The only plus side is you're still Junior Manager, you still out rank everybody in the office except for Kim... Right???
Your thoughts are interrupted by a knock on your office door....
