An interlude

The blast-wave that hit the mall, despite being created by the remote's alterations to reality, had an unfortunate effect. The remotes are designed to be unique to the reality they're sent too and the realities they're in are isolated from others, the effect also shielding the remotes from detection by outside forces.

The power of a remote is recognized to be dangerous to more than one reality. In this case, the blast had changed a fundamental aspect of the safeguards. while exactly what has yet to be determined, an agent is immediately dispatched to try and contain the situation. Either by salvaging the remote and restoring it's condition and returning it to the original recipient, or removing the remote from the reality altogether.

So what happened to the remote?
