She should go check out the changed store

          As Alex stepped inside she wasn't sure if she had completely overridden what this reality considered pets or if this was now a specialty human pet store. Alex supposed she could look it up on her phone, but it would spoil the surprise. Right now she just wanted to check out all the displays.

          In front corner that once held dozens of fish tanks there was now only one large one. Alex peered through the glass to see a mermaid resting on a rock. Her tail looked strangely phallic instead of the traditional fish's tail. Inefficient, though maybe those circular fins by the bell shaped tip helped. When the mermaid saw Alex looking in, she swam over. Alex could see the mermaid's breasts were covered with shells shaped like hands as she shook them playfully. The mermaid made a "come hither" gesture before swimming back to her rock. Alex shook her head sadly before moving on. She wanted to see all the displays before making a selection.

          Walking a few aisles over, the shelf contents changed to a different kind of tank. Where before they had been snakes and lizards….well there was still a snake. Much like the mermaid, the snake-shemale was also lounging on a rock. She was scaled in a mesmerizing whirl of black, brown, and yellow from head all the way down to the rattle on the end of her serpent's tail. The rattle itself appeared to be a half dozen spherical sections squashed together in a line. The snake shemale had no hair, instead a wide cobra's hood stretched from her widow's peak to the back of her shoulders. She opened her mouth and hissed at Alex playfully, revealing gleaming fangs and a pink, forked tongue.

          The snake shemale looked a bit too dangerous to Alex, so she moved on. The next set of displays held much the opposite, a pile of fluffy balls of white and black fur. It was only when one crept away from the pack did Alex see they were vaguely humanoid in shape. The breasts and a hanging dick gave an indication of what the creature once was, but the face was more gerbil than human. The creature took up position in the wheel and started running, tail swinging behind as she completely ignored Alex. Watching the creature happily running away, Alex decided to:
