As powerful as Ivy's powers are, fighting directly has... not been her best point. As soon as anyone, be it the Dark Knight, his sidekicks, or even other heroes, take out her plants, she's totally helpless. Well, she's decided to change that. Having stolen and modified some of Bane's Venom formula, she's hoping to get much bigger and much stronger to finally even the playing field. And she'll indeed do just that... just not in the way she had intended.

Out of all their inmates, Ivy is one of the most dangerous (though not THE most dangerous). And despite their best efforts, she keeps breaking out. That's when director Jeremiah Arkham hits upon a possible idea: if regular cells won't stop her, then perhaps her own body could. As such, Jeremiah makes Ivy the test subject for a new containment method: give her incredible quantities of food, in the hopes that she'll fatten up enough to no longer be an escape threat... or even a threat period.
