You sit on Amy's floor in her bedroom, one hand cuffed behind you to her bed frame, going over your new future virtually attached to her feet. It's a horrid thought, one that you'd rather not see become a reality, so you start looking around her room for anything that can pick a lock to handcuffs. There's nothing directly in front of you except her open door, a sign of freedom tantalizingly close, nothing to your left or your right besides a desk, her closet, and a wardrobe. You sigh and do your best to lay down for the night, but you see a glint under her bed,a hair clip. You stifle a shout of excitement, god forbid you wake her up, and lean forward to grab it. Just out reach, you stick your leg under her bed to kick it out or pull it towards you and just barely, it makes it to you. Then setting to work, it's not long before a click penetrates the silence of the house.
You cringe, waiting for the signs that Amy's up and mad, but they don't come. Just managing to contain your excitement is draining, and you sneak up very quietly and cautiously to her dresser, which is right next to her face. Just as you pick up her phone, the one lifeline she has to telling mom on you, she groans and rolls over. A bead of sweat trickles down your forehead, and you slowly back out of her room, only speeding up once you make it halfway to your rroom, slamming the door hard and locking it.
Sure enough, that woke up your sister, but you don't care. You're home free for the week, and her pounding on the door in rage only makes your victory sweeter. All through the night she screams and hollers, threatens and promises, but you both know you have the upper hand for now, so she eventually retreats back to her room. You turn and gaze at your room, which probably has more than enough Doritos, root beer, and video games to sustain yourself for a week, only to realize with agony that it's your moms room.
If you try and open the door to sneak to your room, little miss psycho will hear and come destroy you before you make it anywhere, but your moms room is barren besides her bed and closet, the only good thing being that she has her own separate bathroom.
