He will be stuck being small

"Wait a minute," Alex stepped away from the tiny alien and frowned. "You say you've been watching us since we've been born but Max is my brother, not Jake's. Any observant alien race would know that!"

The alien blinked, "A simple, how do you call it? Error in translation."

Alex shook his head and narrowed his eyes, "Something smells fishy."

"Ah, that would be the blornk with tomato sauce," the alien flashed a grin, "You really should try some. In fact, you three will be our guests of honor at dinner tonight!"

The alien pressed a button on his jet pack and swiveled toward a shiny metal door. The portal whooshed open and three more of his kind flew in.

"Oh, how lovely! We have company!" an eight-inch tall female gushed and pressed her hand against her chest, "My name is Pralla and I'm guessing Moort didn't introduce himself, did he?"

Moort shrugged and made a loop-de-loop in the air. "It never came up, Pralla."

Pralla rolled her eyes, "Methinks we need another meeting on how to conduct ourselves with Earthlings."

"Not another meeting!" Moort whined.

"Hey!" Alex shouted, startling Moort. The alien's jet pack jerked out of control and nose dived toward the ship's floor where he smashed and skid into Max's sneaker.

"I'm good!" Moort shouted, jumping to his feet. "I did that on, um, purpose! Yeah!"

"Look, I don't care about introductions or meetings on how to be politically correct," Alex growled, "What I do care about is my friend Jake, here, whose the size of Stuart Little! There's gotta be a way for you to fix him!"

"There's not," Moort scowled, crossing his arms over his chest. "So give up on that idea and have dinner with us."

Jake peeked at Pralla, who was strangely silent.

"Is he right?" Jake asked, "Will I be stuck like this forever?"

"Weeeeell . . ."

"Pralla!" Moort's voice was full of warning.

"There is one way," Pralla admitted, ignoring the indignant Moort. "But it's dangerous. . ."

"She's wrong!" Moort shouted, "She's got ulterior motives and she's lying to you!"

"Am not!" Pralla huffed.

"Am too!"

Jake sighed and looked at Alex and Max.

"Who do we believe?" he wondered aloud.
