This choice: Felicia, she kept taking your powers and you want payback!  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

Felicia, she kept taking your powers and you wa...

    by: Unknown
Felicia pestered you in particular more than any of the other people in the compound, and considering the fact that Felicia had made a daily routine out of taking people's powers that was saying something. You believed that she liked to target you as it essentially gave her a temporary pass to use the powers of everyone for the day as she could use your body possessing to temporarily overtake anyone else. That and the twerp seemed to have a bizarre obsession with you, always clinging to you when she had the chance and trying to talk to you all of the time. Maybe you reminded her of someone she knew back on the surface, maybe she looked up to you as the oldest male figure, maybe she just liked YOUR male figure, you had no idea. All you knew was that that little brat had some long overdue payback coming her way.

Standing up and walking back to the little service desk of the fake beach, you reached over the counter and snagged the small bag containing your gear, the only bag behind the desk at the moment. Unzipping the bag you threw on your white polo shirt and sandals followed by your wristwatch. It was 11:15, so you had a little more than two hours before your first of two five hour testing session of the week, plenty of time for what you had in mind. You opened up the door and stepped out, the cooler air and sterile scent of the facility corridor smacking you in the face like a brick as you left the simulated Caribbean paradise.

You made your way down the hallways, knowing exactly where Felicia would be at the moment. You had taken your time in the base to profile all of the long term residents, learning their patterns and mannerisms. At first you'd hoped to escape with these skills, but when it became evident that one would have a better chance of escaping Earth's gravitational pull with a trampoline, you just did it out of boredom, making notes of their routines and schedules. Right about now Felicia would... bingo.

You peaked into the staff arcade, an area populated by gaming systems of all descriptions, arcade machines, and novelty machines like fortune tellers. Most of the inmates weren't allowed in on account of your disruptive tendencies (inmates had your own identical arcade near the food court) but Felicia and Sam were deemed harmless and docile enough to hang out in some of the restricted areas without having the guards called on them. Felicia wasn't particularly popular amongst the rest of you and spent a lot of her time off hanging out with the humans, as she was now. At the moment she was waiting for her turn to play some fighting game, her and her friends swapping places on loss. Ducking into a nearby supply closet you began concentrating.

You looked down, small black hands meeting your gaze. You smiled, flexing your fingers as you got your bearing in this body. "Hey guys you can take my next turn or two, I'll be right back!" You said in a perfect match of Felicia's speech. You waved as you walked away, a menacing smile spreading across your lips. How will you get in trouble?
