You first try the small gray-green filing cabinet. The top drawer slides open, but is empty except for cobwebs. The lower drawer however is packed enough for both. You thumb over the organizer, reading labels that seem more to the subject of lecture plans and class assignments but one odd wedge is marked with a green highlight over the words "Business Proposals".
What kind of business? Would Professor Montana really sell her invention to any entrepreneur with a half-baked idea? You hesitate, considering it must be something else, unrelated to the matter transposer and the concept of resizing. Your fingers latch on to the folder automatically and lift it loose. Flipping through the papers, you find yourself wrong. She has been in touch with interested investors about using her technology, some big time wealth in one case that could transform society and the world if she went through with it. And, by the looks of a green star in the corner, she has considered that absurd proposal, along with two other less dramatic ideas that stood out from the rest. Is she really going through with these? Are they in a bidding war right now for exclusive rights or does she get to choose where her invention goes without worry for her bank account?
