As you debate who to test the transposer on, you begin to recall the time that Hannah had stolen your supply of Number 2 pencils, forcing you to take an exam with cheap, less dependable Number 1 pencils. The scoring machine never did pick up the inferior grade lead, causing you to fail the test.
The decision had been made. Crouched just below the window, lining up the sight of the transposer, you watch Hannah slouch downward in her seat, loudly chewing gum, looking particularly disinterested. Your finger slowly pulls the trigger, causing a white beam of light to burst forth and tag the unsuspecting Hannah.
You watch with pleasure as she quickly diminishes to a height of about 6 inches, completely noticed by everyone in class. She runs around the top of the cheap blue desk chair, realizing that she can't safely get off the chair without assistance. Right about now, you're feeling pretty smug about having single handedly reduced the risk of petty theft on campus.
Before you can get too slf-congratulatory, you see the much hated Steve reach over and grab Hannah in his right hand. She tries to let out a shriek, but her effort is quickly silenced by his monstrous hand over her face. He looks around the classroom and appears to stuff Hannah in his right jean pocket.
Carefully, you watch Steve get up, and ask Mrs. Seitzman to be excused to use the restroom. She just rolls her eyes and warns him to hurry back.
Although you didn't particularly care for Hannah, Steve is surely going to take advantage of her, and even worse, let his doofus football friends know about it. People will know that someone, or something is messing with people's sizes. Then again, with the transposer in your hands, you're the one calling the shots.
