The polar bear's voice did not sound to bad, Lana thought. He seemed to be a young and cheerful male. Leaving on her own was ruled out for the moment unless she got serious, but that might make people suspicious about anything being wrong with her. Luckily the cocktail had a long straw supplied which even allowed the liquid to travel such a long way. She did not oppose when the polar bear put his arm around her shoulder.
Lana's thoughts concentrated on what she would do once she could leave the house. Shed the whole furry clad tight suit into the bushes? But how to reach home? A taxi was unlikely to be available. And walking the distance would be a neverending ticklish nightmare. She decided to put her faith into the polar bear's hands. Without pondering further she got rid of the cocktail, took the polar bear's claw and pulled him under the laughing and frolicking of his crew towards the door which connected the dining room with the main hall.
Should she drag him outside or to a quiet place (if can be found) to explain her predicament? What did he have in mind?
