Not one toe had twitched before Jen paused. As soon as the idea of confronting each member of Aborted Crisis entered her head, she thought better of it. Best case, the efforts will result in a shouting match that kills the party. Worst case, she's strung from the ceiling naked for everyone's viewing pleasure. The two bands were both having fun so far, even if the night was young. Why rock the boat?
That being said, Jen was no fool. If she and her bandmates gave him the chance, Zack wouldn't hesitate to humiliate them, especially at their own party. Her guard was up, for now at least, but her friends were completely defenseless. There was a voice nagging her to warn them, stressing sooner was better. Yet the familiar bubbling in her heart was telling her to banish the fear and just enjoy the party. The old war waged again, and history showed that her passion usually won this war.
"Zack's an ass," she mumbled, trying not to let the story repeat. "Zack's an ass. Zack's an ass. Zack's an ass. Zack's an a-"
A roar snapped the raven-haired musician from her chanting. Following the crowd to the source, she found her next destination, and what may distract her from the anxiety of the handsy letch.
