"Skinny dipping?" Tifa asked incredulously.
"Yeah, it's the best!" Yuffie grinned slyly. "It's just like taking a bath, except you're not in a cramped tub. Haven't you ever felt that way, so confined and restricted and just need a little bit more freedom while you soak?"
"Not really," said Aeris, her confused expression matching Tifa's. "Is this another thief thing?"
"Ninja," Yuffie corrected. "And no, it's not a ninja thing. I used to do it all the time back home. What's wrong with sharing a personal favorite pastime with good friends?"
"Nothing, but..." said Aeris. "Can't we just swim normally, with swimsuits?"
"Mmhm," Tifa nodded. "I just don't get why we have to be naked when we could just be swimming with our swimsuits like normal people."
"Because that's boring!" Yuffie whined, starting to get frustrated. "It's more exciting this way. What, are you scared someone's gonna find us? Even though I'll make sure that we're so out of the way that no one's gonna pass by us at all?"
"I'm not scared," Tifa said, twinging a little at Yuffie's remark. "It's just stupid swimming without a swimsuit. It almost sounds like you just want to see us naked."
"No I don't!" Yuffie shot back. Well, she did want them naked, but not for the reasons Tifa was surely thinking of at that moment. "It sounds more to me that you're scared. You are scared of being naked, aren't you?" Yuffie taunted, grasping for straws at this point. "Can't handle being naked around a couple of your close gals? Bawk-bawk-bakaw!"
"I'm not chicken, Yuffie!" Tifa yelled.
"Cheep! Cheep! Cockadoodle-doo!" Yuffie crowed.
"Argh, fine! " Tifa threw her hands in the air in exasperation. "If you're going to be so annoying about it, I'll do it, already."
"Yay!" Yuffie beamed. "And Aeris, you aren't gonna leave us hanging, are you?"
"Well," Aeris said nervously, feeling both Yuffie and Tifa's stares at her. "It is something I've never done before... what the heck, I'm in too."
"Perfect!" Yuffie smiled a smarmy smile. "Now that that's settled, I've got just the perfect location in mind..."
