Two Strangers

Nikolas was a 23 year old biology major at his local college. He was an aspiring student ready to graduate next year. The sun had set an hour a ago, and he was anxious to get to his apartment. He shared it with two other college students. Neither of them were going to get back till late, so it was the perfect time for studying. Nikolas cut through the park hoping to take the short cut. His trip was abruptly stopped by a strange light that caught his eye. In the star filled night, swirling orbs of color floated above him. He stopped, enthralled by the weird light. It was a bad choice. A moment later, a great beam of light surrounded him. Unable to yell out for help, Nikolas was transported aboard the alien ship.

Donny, a 17 year old high school student was in his junior year. He was the slacker type, only doing enough work not fail his classes. The only class of interest was the autoshop at his school. Donny loved working on cars. Hearing the hum of a working engine and hands getting dirty was his kind of fun. He had just left the autoshop, staying later to help with an assignment. As he walked down the distressed sidewalk, a peculiar light caught his attention. He was caught in the alien's subterfuge, and moments later was also abducted.
