Chapter #13

Snacks for the Cousins

    by: Unknown
"Maggie. We are not voting on this, that's ridiculous.", Taylor said causing her siblings to nod in agreeance. Seems like the Anderson kids aren't fans of those kinds of people either. Maggie breathed a sigh of annoyance after hearing her cousin's response. "Alright then, why don't you all talk amongst yourselves and I'll get us some snacks.", Maggie said trying to keeping her cool.

You got yourself situated on top of the girl's bare foot as she got moving, not waiting for another response from her uninterested cousins. Before when you climbed the heights of Rachel, you had ample time attempt to climb up the woman's leg and a shoe to fall back on when you were felt. This time you didn't want to risk it and instead opted to lean against the enormous leg in an attempt to stay on top of the foot. Luckily, it seemed that Maggie's goal kept her from noticing you there.

Maggie's legs kept swinging as she walked to the living room where Rachel and her sister were speaking with each other. "I'm telling you, he's been watching us for months...", Rachel said trying to keep her voice down. You weren't sure if Maggie could hear them but you doubted that she would truly understand what her mother and aunt were talking about if she did.

"Is everything okay Mom ?", Maggie says to her mother after stopping in her tracks. "It's fine hun, your aunt is just a little worried that's all", Lisa said assuring her daughter. Maggie then turned her attention back to retrieving the snacks, picking up a plate of hors d’oeuvres from the kitchen and bringing it back to her room.

You try to stay aboard as Maggie begins walking again. Thankfully Maggie still hasn't noticed the little stowaway (that also happened to be the cause of all the ruckus) that was using the small grooves in her skin to hang on. You really didn't think that leaving the note would be as alarming to the family as it has been; you guessed that some time at this house would be enough to get the Anderson's to forget about you and all that you've done.

Maggie soon returns to her room and the Anderson kids...

You have the following choices:

1. ...were talking to each other about your note

*Noteb*
2. ...finally decided on what they wanted to do to pass the time

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
