Mabel stomps over, laying her hand palm-down next to you. You obligingly climb aboard and hold tight as she carries you away with her. You shout up at her as she walks, giving a brief description of what Dahlia has already said, and politely asking her to recognise your human rights, and let you free.
The hand slaps down on the kitchen table, and you scuttle down the long fingers before the woman strides over to the cooking she is doing. As she works, she speaks over her shoulder to you.
"Yer makin' some good points, but ah gotta put mah family first. Ah think you'll be really good for Dahlia. When ah was her age.. Heh, back when ah still had mah looks..."
She still does have her looks, you think to yourself, still utterly in awe of the beauty and power combined in this gigantic goddess.
"Ah got with plenty a' boys. Too many, to be honest. There were fun times, sure, but nuthin' compares to finally findin' ma true love. An' nowadays? The boys nowadays, I wouldn't want them gettin' their hands on my little girl. Hurtin' her. You, though..."
The woman turns, leaning against the counter and looking down at your pathetic form with a half smile.
"You, you'd be good fer her. With a fella like you, she could learn all about how her feelin's work, get some practice for when she finally meets a real man. And really? You couldn't even hurt a fly!"
She turns away laughing, the mockery of this beautiful being somehow the most painful experence you've yet been through.
Thundering footsteps announce Dahlia entering the kitchen, the girl wearing a robe, her hair swathed in a towel. "What's fer breakfast, ma?" she asks as she sits, looming directly over you.
Mabel slams some steaming plates down on the table, ready for all the family to come and partake. You walk over to the one before your little nurse, seeing that it is covered in hot scrambled eggs. Your mouth waters. Dahlia takes up a fork and digs in, scooping up a vast field of food to feed into her massive maw. She chews and swallows, before speaking to you.
"Ah bin thinkin' 'bout what we can do today..." she begins.
