Chapter #10
Aunt Lisa's
by: Unknown
Taylor was paying you no mind, even on the off chance that she does spot you she would probably just think that you are just an insect so you felt pretty safe up here. You sat down on the young woman's knee and caught your breath while listening in on the conversations that the giants above you had, they mostly consisted of trying to figure out why you left that note.
The ride to this Aunt Lisa was a pretty smooth one, just as you hoped Taylor didn't even bat an eye. "Alright everyone out", Rachel demanded after parking the car. This prompted you to hold onto to Taylor's jeans as you knew that she would be standing soon, and stand she did as she and everyone else in the car stepped out and approached the house that their car was parked in the driveway of.
The swinging of Taylor's leg was a non-issue for you. You were starting to get used to traveling on these giants while they walked, maybe this would be the future of transportation.
Everyone stood in front of the door when Rachel rung the doorbell and waited, impatiently you might add, for someone to answer. A few seconds of awkward silence go by until you hear the clicking sounds of the door mechanism unlocking. The door opens and a red head woman that seems to be about as old as Rachel appears behind it.
"Hey family, what are you guys doing here", the woman asked. "Mom's afraid of a tiny guy in our house", Ethan quickly blurted out, this causing both Taylor and Abby to chuckle. "I'll explain in a second just let us in", Rachel said sounding annoyed with all of her children. The woman, who you assumed was Lisa, stepped out of the way and allowed everyone inside.
The family entered the house while you were still clinging onto Taylor for dear life, "Maggie look who's here", Lisa said to a little girl sitting at the couch watching TV; she seemed to be about as old as Ethan and you assumed that this was Lisa's daughter. "Hey guys", she said waving. "Hey, your mother and I are about to have an Adult conversation so I am gonna need you all to go upstairs", Rachel said prompting everyone to start moving up the steps, everyone except Taylor.
"That means you Taylor", Rachel said. "I thought you said that this was an Adul..." "GO UPSTAIRS DAMNIT", Rachel snapped at her oldest daughter. It seemed like Taylor was going to comply but staying where you were was just not gonna work. You were used to Taylor's leg swinging back and forth but you could not keep this grip forever. Maybe you should find a way down from here and listen in on the "Adult conversation" that the two women were going to have. Then again you might be able to hold on for just a little longer until Taylor makes it upstairs, the kids were probably heading to Maggie's room so you could rest your hands when you get there.
