Chapter #28

Not taking the risk

    by: Unknown
You didn't want to waste this chance, the enormous woman was nowhere near you but the plate was. You couldn't afford to be greedy and wait for the other items that she was going to put on her sandwich so you had to hurry.

You bolted out from between the bottles of dish soap and jumped onto the plate, you had eyes on the gigantic slices of bread and immediately began ripping pieces off of it.

At this point you would be stocked up with food for days and you were going to need to seize opportunities like this if you wanted to survive. You still did feel a little bit guilty about taking from this family, despite them robbing you of your beach survival dream and nearly killing you at literally every step, they seemed like nice people. But you had to shake that feeling off because you needed to survive and if that meant denying these humongous people small crumbs that they probably wouldn't miss anyway, so be it.

You looked off in the distance to see the woman holding the multiple things that she was going to use to construct her sandwich. This was your cue to leave as you stuffed all of the pieces of bread in your pockets that were now stuffed with food. You quickly ran away and leaped off of the plate as you didn't want to replicate the experience you had earlier. You landed on the counter and quickly ran back to your hiding spot. You looked back and saw that the woman still remained oblivious to your existence and continued to make her sandwich.

You watched as the woman finished crafting and then eventually devoured her sandwich and as you predicted she didn't even notice the small scraps that you took from her. When she finished her snack off she placed the plate in the sink and went back upstairs.

You were now alone again ready to drift off to sleep. You just had one hell of a day and you had to think about what tomorrow would hold. You had to get used to living here possibly finding a better place to set up a camp and who knows, maybe you'd be able to survive here for months

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. The next Morning

2. Four months later

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
