You fire a short burst at the babysitter, who was too engrossed in her book to notice anything else happening around her. The beam strikes her and you watch her body start dwindling before your eyes. Her head dips lower, her legs become shorter and by the time the process was over, she had probably lost around 5 inches in height. Her clothes shrank with her, too, so she was still oblivious to anything that had just happened to her. She looked towards her cousin again, just to make sure the other girl was still in her sights, then retreated further in her book.
The babysitter was probably no more than 5 feet tall now, give or take a few inches. You look around, realizing that no one had seen what you did. Emboldened with this information, you aim at the babysitter again and fire.
