As soon as you discard the five of clubs, you regret it. After all, you're not trying to win the hand. You're trying to not lose it. And building on a pair of fives is a lot better bet for NOT having the lowest hand than trying to get a flush.
You draw the five of spades. Damn!
Well, maybe a pair of fives will still be enough to keep you out of trouble. Although three fives would have done that better.
As it happens, you beat Cassie's pair of fours. She shakes her head, turns her chair to get her legs from out beneath the table, and bends over to take her socks off.
Which lets you stare right down her top.
She looks up and catches you checking out her breasts. "Look all you want, kid," she says with a grin. "Maybe you'll get to see more in the near future."
"If I have to remove my top," Tifa says, "I will be happy to let you look as much as you like. But you will have to earn it," Tifa adds. Her serious tone gets a giggle from the other women. You hope she loses her top soon. With that thought in mind, you take five new cards.
