The game is interrupted

You're sitting there, thinking about which cards to discard, and which ones to keep, when the door bangs open.

"What the hell?" all five ladies say as they turn their attention to the new arrival, a nondescript male character in a suit. Personally, you would have knocked first, before entering the room. Entering the room full of the four most notorious shooters in gaming doesn't seem to be the healthiest decision one can make.

"We got a situation," the new arrival explains. "One that needs your attention. One that can't be explained to an outsider," he adds, looking directly at you.

All four ladies get up and, after Lara makes arrangements for Sam, everyone disappears but you and the messenger.

"Just sit tight, kid, we'll get some substitutes in here for you shortly," the messenger says before disappearing, leaving you wait.
