Rarity fidgeted nervously as she waited for Rainbow Dash to arrive. There were so many ways that today's plan could go wrong, but she was determined to try. She wasn't given much time to ponder,though, as Rainbow soon arrived.
"Hey, Rarity," Rainbow greeted, "You said you need something?"
Rarity nodded, "Yes, Rainbow. It's something very important." Before Rainbow had time to say anything else Rarity's horn lit up and she cast a spell on her. Soon after Rainbow began to wobble in a stunned and hypnotized state. Rarity didn't practice the more complex parts of magic as often as Twilight, but managed to look up and learn some special ones specifically for her plans. The first spell would temporarily hypnotize Rainbow, and cause her to unwittingly act upon any suggestion afterwards.
"Alright, Rainbow. Once the spell wears off you're going to stay here for the day, and you're going to eat all the food I bring you." Rainbow nodded absently mindedly in response. Rarity quickly gathered a large pile of sweets she had ordered from Sugarcube Corner and enchanted with the second new spell she had learned. This food would instantly turn to fat once Rainbow consumed it and would cause rapid weight gain.
A minute later the first part of the spell wore off and Rainbow began to act on the hypnotized commands. She practically dove into the pile of sweets and began to eagerly chow down on all the food she could get her hooves on. So far so good.
