Maggie walks back into the room with coffee in hand. As she does she just happens to see her sister covering you in a big wet kiss. From over Fiona's shoulder you see a flash of anger on her face, but it disappears after a second. Fiona puts you down and soon after Maggie comes over with the coffee. "Here you go sis." she says as she hands a cup to Fiona. While the manticore drinks you look up at your wife in confusion. She gives you a an awkward smile and shrugs. "So how have things been around here?" Fiona asks. "Oh, pretty good, right honey?" Maggie says. You snap out of it and answer. "Yeah, things have been great." you say. "You two must be really happy together." Fiona notes, back in her depressed mode. She reaches over and begins stroking your back with a claw after she says this. You look at Maggie, who shrugs again. "Uh, Sapphire's doing well too." you say. "Yes, she's getting along well with her friends and she's doing very good in school." Maggie adds. "You guys must be so proud." Fiona says with a smile. Its kind of a sad smile. Maggie looks at you and motions to Fiona with her eyes, like she wants you to do something. You pat Fiona's massive finger and give it a little rub. The manticore's smile widens and she looks genuinely happy. She then gets up and heads toward the bathroom. "I'll be right back." she says.
When Fiona's out of the room you look up at Maggie. "What was that about? You saw what she did right?" you say. "I know, I saw. Its just that...Fiona's been really depressed, and she looked so happy." she says. "You do realize that your sister kissed your husband and you're okay with it?" you remind her. "Yes, but she won't go further than that, and how much can a little affection hurt? She's always in a good mood when you're around, so can you just bear with it? Please, she's my sister." Maggie pleads. She leans down and gives you a kiss and bats her eyes in attempt to sway you. She really cares about her sister. "Fine." you say with a sigh. "Just make sure she doesn't do anything funny." Maggie smiles. "Oh I won't. She might be lonely, but she won't do anything bad. She's a nice girl, she's just having a rough time." she says.
When Fiona comes back into the room she sits down and resumes drinking her coffee. She's in a slightly better mood, and the three of you continue your conversation. "So how's work?" Maggie asks Fiona. "Its going okay." she answers. "It does feel good helping people get back on their feet. At least I can makes someone's life better." There she goes again. "How are things at the salon?" she asks you. "Well its good I guess. I do whatever they need me too, so it varies." you tell her. "Hmm, maybe I should pay you a visit there so you can help me relax." Fiona says to you with a wink. After some more talking....
