"Naruto? Konohamaru? What are you guys doing here?" exclaimed Sakura, "We managed to catch the flu" Naruto nervously chuckled. "Sakura huffed, "I got that, I mean why are you in the Nursery ward?", Sakura grabbed the clipboards off of they beds, "D-Did you guys fake your ages? Bedwetting? What's going on?". Naruto backed up defensively, "Uhhh the bedwetting part is actually true and we thought it would be better accommodating in this ward, besides what are you doing here?" Naruto spoke. "I've been drafted in to help as I'm a medical ninja in training and the Hospital is understaffed, it's not the first time I've had to do it, as for the bedwetting thing I do kinda understand that. Don't worry I won't tell anyone about your age, or about the bedwetting outside of the Hospital" Sakura sighed.
"Thank you Sakura!", Konohamaru hugged Sakura around the waist. Sakura tried to wrangle herself free, "That's okay Konohamaru, but I still need to prep you and the beds" she said in a strangled voice. Sakura instructed the boys to stay as she took their medical forms, she returned quickly with a trolley. Sakura replaced the medical forms and took a couple of packages off the trolley and unwrapped them, they were plastic sheets. Sakura ushered the boys off of the beds and stretched the crinkly plastic sheets over the top of the beds, Naruto gulped as Sakura stroked her hand across the covered beds, thinning out the creases and making a very loud sound.
"Now the beds are done, I only have to prep you guys" Smiled Sakura. Sakura explained that she would need to take their clothes and store them whilst they wear hospital gowns, "It'll take me a while to get the gowns as they'll be in another ward, the Nursery ward doesn't tend to use gowns and they have clothes for younger children". Konohamaru's eyes lit up, "Uh Sakura, why don't we just wear the child clothes instead?". Sakura blushed at the question, "It would definitely make you easier to take care of and... change. We do have a range of different sized clothes too, it could work, but are you sure you'd rather wear child clothes than gowns?". Konohamaru tugged at Naruto's sleeve, "What do you think Naruto?".  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
