Bulma was always busy inventing new items for Capsule Corp. But in her spare time every night that she could, she decided to train with Roshi. Under certain, typical Roshi conditions that she decided to accept because of the reward, she trained to control her ki for a few weeks. She charged a ball of ki and launched it out into the ocean. Roshi was surprised,
R: "Bulma, that was perfect. You learned to control your ki. Now it's time for you to learn to power up."
B: "Awesome! I can't wait to show it off when I figure it out!"
R: "Well, you'll have to wait for a while. I took me a long time before I could figure out how to use the technique myself. I know how to teach it, but it requires a lot of control."
B: "We'll see about that. I'll come back tomorrow and figure this out."
She got into her aircraft and flew home. The next day, she came back to Roshi's island earlier than usual out of anticipation to learn how to grow.
B: "Alright! I wanna learn how to grow, and I need to learn now!"
R: "Ok Ok I get the message. Now, this will require a ton of ki and body control."
He then explained the process of the technique. Bulma began to practice for hours. After working on this for a few days, she began to get the hang of it. At first, she grew to the size of an amateur female body builder, but she grew by leaps and bounds from there on. After a week, she was able to match Roshi's size and strength. Roshi was speechless.
R: "Bulma... You just mastered a technique that took me months to master in the span of a week. You must have something special considering someone like Vegeta decided to have kids with you."
He immediately gets smacked upside the head.
B: "Of course I do! Look at me, I'm huge! This is going to be great!"
She struck a few poses and then shrank back to regular form, "Thank you Roshi! I'm going back home now, see ya later."
