The object you are holding starts to glow in a bright colorful lights all of the sudden; it happened so unexpected that your heart nearly stopped. "Oh my god!" You shouted in surprise. Is it something you said? Did you somehow said the magic words that activated it's powers? Oh crap, it looks like it's gonna blow!
Just as you try to order the magical weapon to stop (or at least think you could stop it), a bright colorful beam with equally colorful stars shot out of the artifact and blasted through the ceiling, creating a large hole on top of you.
"Well, that doesn't look so good..." You said nervously. Now you are in trouble! It's bad enough you broke a glass case containing the weapon, but nearly demolishing the house is a whole different story. How will you explain this to the owner now? Well, all you could think of is leaving the house to avoid getting into a conflict with them as much as you can; they might as well force you to work around here to pay off the montage, or maybe even turn you into a rat or something. With all of these possibilities, you have decide to get out of here while you can, but you still have no idea how to use your new weapon.
"Umm..can you tell me how do I shoot out something like that?" You asked the object (Again, feeling very silly talking to inanimate object). You then feel another strangely powerful aura from it, was it really listening to you?
You can't train it's powers here, so it really is the best time to leave. You head to the door and out of the house with the magical tool still in your hand. You noticed that dusk is slowly going to end soon, but you could find another house somewhere around here.
