When you look you saw it was Mrs. Emily, the teacher for one of the class full of 11 year olds and well known for having the best end of the year field trips for her class of all to the point that even the parents volunteer to chaperone just so they could go, eventually having to be limited to just the parents of the students going on the trip, much to your mom's dismay since you were in a different class, and she really wanted to go.
"I heard we were getting a new student today." Mrs. Emily said not knowing that the student, ironically named Jackie Harper, but with no relation to you had at the last minute ended up moving to a different country instead, and didn't tell the school. "When you didn't show I thought you got lost and decided to come looking for you. You actually came at a good time. The permission slip for the end of the year field trip is due tomorrow. You will need to get it signed tonight if you want to go. And your parents are only allowed to chaperone if you are going. Jackie right."
This made you pause you had heard about the new student, and the ironic name, they were supposed to be your move onto your street, but unlike others, you heard from your mom what happened and knew she wasn't coming to school. Because of that you now had a choice.
Choice A: Come clean, and tell Mrs. Emily what happened, and continue to your locker, and change your clothes back to normal.
Or...
Choice B: Agree so that you can go on the best end of the year field trip, while your mom would help you since by chaperoning she could go as well, which both of you really want. However it would require pretending to be a girl for the rest of the year, and it was still the first quarter. Which means you would spend the entire year in a younger grade as a girl, which might cause problems on your report card later on in life unless you go through all of middle school as a girl. But the field trip can easily be worth it, so what do you choose?
