Austin's POV:
Austin's world was spinning, his best friend Ally's piano playing had caused her to bash him under-finger several times, so he didn't notice when Ally saw him. Well, Ally didn't see him. She saw what she thought was a bug.
"EWW!" Ally screamed, jumping back and swatting the 'bug' off of her piano. Just as Austin had regained his senses, they were bashed out again as he was sent flying off the keyboard and on to the floor. As he senses returned (thankfully faster this time) he was shocked that he was even alive based on how big the fall was to him. But a looming shadow reminded him of his more... immediate problem.
Ally's POV:
Ally shivered, she couldn't believe she'd just been touching a bug, why was it on her piano? why didn't it crawl away after she first touched it?
'oh no' she thought 'what if i hurt it!'. Ally wasn't the violent type, heck, the worst prank she could come up with was a kick me sign stuck to someone's back! so the idea she hurt it, even if it was just a bug, wasn't a pleasant one.
She looked around for it, spotting it fairly quickly, but it wasn't moving much. 'aw man, it looks really hurt! well, what do you do if you find a hurt animal?' she thought to herself, already knowing the answer.
She looked down pitifully at the insect and took a deep breath. 'You put it out of it's misery.'
She looked down at her feet, she was wearing her favorite pink flats, she didn't often wear them often and as much as she wanted to put the bug out of it's misery, she wasn't sure if she wanted to have it's body splattered to the sole of her shoe.
'maybe i could do it barefoot? I mean, it'll probably be softer and more comfortable for it that way...' she told herself in her head, trying to make herself feel better about it.
