This choice: Misty grows before entering Pewter City • Go Back...Chapter #4The Magic word is 'Grow', Wait... WHAT? by: RedAce   After finding a strange green toned gem in Mt. Moon's many cavernous mazes. Misty had thought she heard a voice come from it. But after question the stone and getting no response, she pocketed into her left jean short's pocket and continued on her way to Pewter City to meet up with Ash and Brock. However, while on her way there. A faint child-like voice whispered in her head, "Grrrrrooooooow." the word was softly said. Misty didn't hear this since her mind was on something else, but the voice continued to whisper softly in her mind.
As Misty was nearing Pewter City limits, she had tripped over yet another object, though this time it wasn't a Pokemon, but a exposed tree root. But before Misty could react to her fall, she suddenly heard the child-like voice whisper, "Grrrrrooooooow." Then Misty with out thinking, repeated out loud what she heard.
"Grrrrroooooooow?" Misty had asked in a confused tone.
Then the stone sitting comfortably in her left jean short's pocket started to glow faintly and started to pour energy into her left thigh. Misty didn't feel anything, since the pain from the fall was the only thing she was feeling, though she did start to feel this odd feeling starting to occur now. It was faint, but she could feel something. Like her skin was slowly stretching or something like that. It wasn't really painful, but it did feel very weird. Misty had finally stood up and dusted off her jean shorts and overall. But as she did this, she could help but feel like something was slightly off, but what though, she wondered.
After cleaning up herself, she continued on her way to Pewter City. Unknowing to her, she had grown almost a whole inch! But this was only the start of something really troubling...
Arriving in Pewter City...
Misty met up with Ash and Brock in Pewter city finally, though they quickly noticed the faint dirt stains all over her clothes. Ash snickered, while Brock asked what had happen. Misty shrugged at first and then remembered the cave. She explained about the Geodude she tripped over and was going to explain the tree root she tripped over too, but decided not to, since Ash was already snickering and she didn't want to give him an excuse in calling her a klutz... But the three went together into Pewter City and decided to do a few things together.
Brock asked if they wanted to try out the new mall that had just opened and both Ash and Misty agreed, though for different reasons. When they entered the mall, Misty thought of maybe buying a new set of clothes, since she did want something else to wear everyday besides her overall strap suspender, yellow t-shirt, jean short combo. It's not like she didn't like how she looked, it's just she like to have a little more option while she is still travailing with her friends and all. She had found some cute clothes and decided to try them all. Ash and Brock had comeback around in the mall and saw Misty buying some clothes. Brock sighed, "Oh no, she's buying clothes again... this will take a while Ash." Ash saw this and sighed, along with Pikachu. So the three decided to go eat at the food court maybe or something else till Misty's surfaces again.
As Misty was trying on some clothes, a clerk offered to help her. Misty accepted and thanked her. While Misty was in the middle of changing shirts, the stone started to flare up again. Misty started to exchange her clothes for the new ones with the clerk, when that odd whisper happen again. Only this time, Misty suddenly said the word out loud subconsciously, but then reacted unconsciously unaware as to what just happen. The store clerk stared at Misty with a puzzled look repeating what she had just said out loud too.
Misty quickly blushed and asked what did she just say to her? The store clerk then blushed and replied, "I-I just repeated what you just said, you said, grow. I didn't mean to miss."
Becoming red a crossed her face, she quickly jerked back into the changing room. The store clerk felt stupid and pleaded, "Please forgive me miss. I'm not trying to mock you. I really wasn't." Misty stepped back and tried to figure out what happen, she had said something with out truly realizing it. First she found a odd stone, and then sworn she heard a voice, and now she is speaking random words with out realizing it?! Was she going crazy she thought. But while this was all racing through her head, that odd skin stretching feeling was occurring once again. Though again, Misty hadn't realized it, she just felt it. Which only fueled her mini breakdown. Slowly her jean shorts began to slowly cup tighter around her upper thighs and waist line. It was slow and really unnoticeable, but it was happening. But not only to her shorts, but the rest of her clothes too. Her yellow t-shirt slowly rose up, but it was barely even half an inch higher though, with her suspenders growing just slightly tighter against her shoulders.
Misty had once again, grew another inch! But after calming down, she regained her composure and took in a deep breath, "It's okay, I'm okay, I'm just being a little too excited right now, that's it." After calming down, Misty pulled her head back through the curtain and faced the clothing store clerk face to face.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I don't know what happen. I guess I must be having one of those days." Misty laughed awkwardly.
The clothing store clerk felt better and smiled, since she now felt like she didn't insult her or something. Misty continued her attempt to try on some clothes, but for how long till her next whisper?
What will happen next?
=Addition Notice=
When ever she hears the whisper Grow from the young child-like voice in the gem, she subconsciously says it out loud as well. Like in a trance almost. She doesn't know she is growing yet and she isn't going to like it either. So for now, keep her spurts very small. The growth is also not very painful, but not pleasant either for the most part. Last, clothes do not grow with her, period.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
