Chapter #5Let's Play with Anna! by: 15thatguy   “Not right now… I think I’ll play with Anna for a little bit.” You say to Alisa as you stare up at Anna’s hand.
“Phew…” Alisa sighs in relief, “My magic’s starting to weaken anyhow, go ahead and play while I recover. However, there is a side effect to that wish that you’ll be seeing in a minute.”
“What side effect?” You ask in concern.
“It doesn’t affect YOU directly… rather, Anna.”

ANNA POV

“You know, I’ve never been sure why, but you’ve always loved my belly button.” Anna speaks to her belly as her baby presses against her hand.
She breathes in, sucking in her belly slightly as her belly button retracts into her.

JANE POV

“What’s happening?! Is she having a contraction?!” You ask as the walls of the womb start to close in slightly.
“No, she’s just sucking in her belly. Apparently her belly button made it this far when she was naturally this size.” Alisa points at a new indent.
“Is she poking her belly button?” You ask, the indent looking rather deep.
“No, that’s how deep her belly button was. But when she let’s go…”

ANNA POV

Anna starts frantically panting as she holds her breath too long, her belly quickly jumping out.
“Guess I… overdid it… that time… eh?” Anna asks her unborn child as her container quickly swells and deflates with each breath. “Women’s bellies aren’t meant to be held in that long… not when they’re growing children inside.”
“Anna? You okay?” Yoshiko pokes her head into the bedroom door.
“Yes, dear… Just tried sucking my belly in a little bit.”
“You trying to suck your belly button back in?”
“Jane really does love it when my belly button is involved in play…” Anna grumbles.
“As do I!” Yoshiko gently lowers herself onto the bed, kissing Anna’s navel. “So… please don’t get mad at me, but… I kinda taught Jane a new trick.”
“You taught John a trick?” Anna asks her wife in confusion.
“No, Jane. Y’know, the one in your belly.” Yoshiko pokes Anna’s belly.
“How’d you do that?” Anna asks Yoshiko in disbelief.
“I did it while you were sleeping. I’d just peel the covers back, then treat your belly like a magic crystal ball. Tell me, do you know what today is? And not the day of the week or the date.”
“No? I’ve been very busy with work, and I know it’s not our anniversary.” Anna looks at her wife.
“Oh, well, let me show you.” Yoshiko takes her index finger on her right hand and pokes Anna’s belly. “Oh, wait, let me make a surprise…” She takes her left hand and covers her wife’s eyes.
“Okay, Yoshiko, I’ll bite, show me.”

JANE POV

“Oh no… I forgot…”
“What? What is it?” You ask Alisa in fear, wondering if something wrong was happening.
“Quick, Yoshiko is about to trace something on Anna’s belly, with a few seconds delay, you must retrace what she does.” You feel your foot move toward the new indent in the uterine walls without your input.
“Whoa! Okay, gimme a heads up first!”

ANNA POV

“Done!” Yoshiko says as she uncovers Anna’s eyes, “You know your skin marks slightly whenever she swipes, so look carefully.” Yoshiko says as her wife’s attention falls on her belly.
“I…” Anna starts, reading what Jane is tracing from within, “Lo...ve… You-” Anna gasps as she witnesses the final message being written, “Happy Birthday…”
“Happy birthday, babe.” Yoshiko turns herself onto her side to face her wife more comfortably.
“I… I…” Anna is having a hard time speaking, before she quickly pulls her wife in for a kiss.
“That’s quite an unusual thank you from you.” Yoshiko smirks as she pulls away. “Anna Kita, my wife, today is your thirtieth birthday. I know that we fight sometimes, but that’s what married couples do. We fight, cool down, then come back to fix the problem. I know the unexpected pregnancies by the lab didn’t seem like blessings, but they’re ultimately blessings in disguise. Look down at our bellies, we’re holding two beautiful blessings in disguise in them. Meeting you, however, wasn’t a blessing in disguise. It wasn’t even in disguise, it was just upfront. We’re a family, and this family going to grow like than our bellies. I know you don’t like being sappy on the outside, but I just wanna give you another reminder: I love you.”
Tears start to well up in Anna’s eyes as she pulls Yoshiko in for a hug, “I love you, too!”

JANE POV

“Wow…” You listen in awe. “Maybe… stumbling across that magic wasn’t such a bad thing after all.”
“Yes, it’s honestly quite surprising how Anna’s still having you.” Alisa stares into space.
“What do you mean?” You ask Alisa.
“She’s a working mom. Well, mom-to-be, she’s still pregnant. But, she’s been aiming for a big promotion, and she’s been kinda stressed out. The two of you are quite lucky that I was eventually placed here to make sure you two are okay during this pregnancy.”
“Placed here?”
