It was a cold and rainy day. Prince Edward was currently seeking shelter in the royal chapel. Yet again he was abused by his deranged father. Being the second youngest in the family didn't do him any favor either. At age 15 people would have expected that he would have already gone through a growth spurt, but alas he is merely 5'6" and weighs a measly 120 pounds.
"Dearest Maiden rescue me. Holy Mother grant me the power to end the wickedness I that surrounds me. All-knowing Crone give me the wisdom that I need! Lady Carmen, help your pathetic manservant for I am unworthy to approach you. Give me a sign that my eldest brother still lives!" Edward prayed.
From there Edward kept weeping. Unlike his father Rilian was a good man. Unfortunately, no one has a clue that he is still alive. Yet Edward believes that Rillian either got amnesia, turned into some horrible beast, or kidnapped by a psychotic woman who refuses to let him go until he agrees to marry her. Edward shivers at the thought. As Edward continued to pray, the candles were light by a golden pink flame.
"Edward, why do you cry my child?"
Edward looks up and sees a young motherly woman dressed in a gold and pink dress. He then bows before the woman.
"Sacred Mother, I am not worthy to look upon you."
"Arise faithful acolyte. Tell me what bothers you my dear child."
"It's my father. He abuses me day in and day out. I just want him to die or something already. His sins have nearly brought this kingdom to ruin."
"Fret not child. This is all part of my plan. Sometime in the future a queen of my choosing will rule Tryzantium. Kings are good as pawns and some are worthy of my blessings, however this new queen will come from a far off kingdom."
"So you're saying that all this is in vain and some foreign queen or princess will invade Tryzantium."
"Not quite child. Why have I allowed your brother to go missing in the first place. My he will serve my chosen queen in the new era. This queen will not use army to conquer Tryzantium. Her weapon will be love above all else. Rilian shall rule with his queen, but he shall remain ever faithful and serve his queen until the he dies."
"Thank you Great and Powerful Carmen. I pray that you can give me the strength I need to have my father evicted from the throne as soon as possible."
"I already blessed Isabella with a gift that will expose your father for the scandalous man that he is. I will grant you a blessing that will turn you into a paladin. Do you not desire to be a warrior priest?"
"I do milady!" Edward cried.
"Very well my dear Edward. I will bestow upon you a blessing. Now close your eyes my dear child."
Edward faithfully obeys the Goddess. After closing his eyes the Goddess passionately kisses Edward on the lips. Edward then begins to transform.
