Brian's eyes scanned the box of toys until they stopped on a small matchbox car.
"Hmm?" The boy made a perplexed face as he reached down towards the unfamiliar toy.
"Oh God.." Scott's heart began to race as one of his son's hands began reaching towards him. The fleshy open palm shrouded the car in darkness as it descended. Scott came to the full realization of just how small he was as the boy's massive fingers pressed up against both side of the car. There was a sudden jolt as the car began to ascend into the air. As the boy brought the matchbox car up to his face, he flipped it upside down to see if there were any manufacturer details on the bottom.
“Hmm... that's weird.. there's nothing written under here...” Brian hummed with confusion as he inspected the very detailed looking underside of the car.
Scott felt his stomach drop as the car suddenly flipped upside down. The man was now quite happy that he put his seatbelt on only a few moments before, as it was the only reason he hadn't just been thrown into the ceiling.
Not finding anything, Brian released his pinch on the car and let it roll on it's side down the length of his fingers and into his palm.
Poor Scott was sent into a nauseous spin as the car suddenly rolled on it's side twice before finally settling on it's wheels with a heavy thump.
“uuughhh...” Scott dizzily looked out the window, realizing that the car was now literally in his son's hand. He watched the world beyond the giant hand slowly turn left and right as the boy inspected the car from every angle.
As he sat there recovering from his recent roller coaster , Scott realized this would probably be his best opportunity to safely get the boy's attention.
Taking a deep breath and collecting courage, Scott reached for the handle.
…...
…??
Gripping onto the handle, the anxious man was startled to find that the door wouldn't budge.
“Damn it!” Scott swore as he realized the door might have been slightly dented in when the Brian's fingers pressed on it.
Just as Scott was about to try the other side, he realized that Brian's enormous god-like face was now directly in front of the windshield.
Bringing the car closer to his face, the boy attempted to stare into the windows.
“BRIAN!! IN HERE! IT'S ME DAD!!!” Scott waved desperately at the boy whose giant analytical eyes seemed to show no sign of surprise, only curiosity.
Brian was unable to see behind the windows due to a glare; not that it really mattered to the ten year, as he never actually cared about the inside of his toy cars.
