You take aim and press the life swap button. In an instant you are in the hallway instead of the leisure room. You are surprised by how quick it was, and the fact it didn't make any lights or sounds that would indicate it was doing something this amazing. You quickly turn back too look at where you were, and see Zelda, dressed in your clothes, walking off in the direction of the gym, possibly to do the training you were planning before you got distracted by the remote. The swishing feel of the dress on your legs as you turned to look brings your attention to your own situation. Looking down, you see that you definitely still have your own body, but you are dressed from head to toe in Zelda's clothes. You could feel her tiara on your head, the armor on your shoulders, even the cloth she used to tie up her hair was wrapped around your much shorter hair. You could even feel her bra and panties on you underneath the dress. It was an odd experience to say the least.
Before you can think of what to do next, you realise that you no longer have the manual with you. You had put it inside your quiver, which Zelda (who thought she was you) now had. You figure you were planning on keeping your tunic anyway, even with Zelda's life, so you start to aim the remote at Zelda, ready to swap clothes.
"Zelda!" It takes you a moment to realise that the voice is calling out to you, and you turn to see who it is while hiding the remote behind your back. As it turns out, Peach was coming from another hallway, waving to you. You wave back with your free hand, trying not to show that you're a little worried about Zelda getting out of your sight before you can get your tunic back.
"Hey Peach," you say. You do your best to try and sound like Zelda, and strangely it comes naturally. You make a mental note of that. You may have kept your own mind and personality, but the remote had allowed you to mimic Zelda perfectly to help you claim her life.
"You headed to the library?" she asks. You panic for a second. You actually weren't sure where Zelda was headed before you decided to become her, but it did look like she was going to the library. You mind once again fills you in that Zelda was heading to the library, which means that's were you are now headed.
"Yeah, I was just on my way over there." As you converse with Peach, you keep peaking over at Zelda. She was very far down the hallway now, and if you were right, she'd soon be turning the corner into the gym. If she did that, you wouldn't have a clear shot to get your tunic (and the manual) back from her unless you actually went to the gym, which might make Peach suspicious since it was in the other direction of the library.
"Cool. Wanna head there together?" Now you were worried. If you went with Peach, you'd miss your chance to get your tunic back. You'd either have to find a way to distract a bit with Peach or get her to leave so that you could aim without her asking about what you were doing, or just suck it up and wear the dress until the next time you saw Zelda. Alternatively, you could try to swap without aiming so the swap would happen and you wouldn't make Peach suspicious. There was the chance of a misfire though.
