You were a bit disappointed to find that the person at the end of the hallway was Pit; the young angel boy looking around, clearly lost.
You let out a quiet huff in frustration. While you had told yourself that you would try out the remote on the first person that you saw, you were not that interested in swapping with Pit. Not when you yourself was the King of the Koopas!
Not only was Pit really scrawny compared to yourself, he was also somewhat naive and not really the sharpest tool in the shed.
You groaned as you were reminded that a lot of other fighters here didn't really think much of your own mental faculties either.
It was making you angry. You weren't an idiot; you were just clumsy!!!
You were about to turn around and find a different target, when you suddenly remembered that Pit was the loyal servant of Palutena... and Palutena was a really good friend of Princess Peach!
That put things in a whole different light. Even though the idea of becoming a scatterbrained angel wasn't to your liking, you could see the advantage of doing it.
If you were to swap lives with Pit, you would be able to get close to Palutena, who would probably know a great many secrets about Peach; like what kinds of foods she liked, what her favorite music was and such.
This information, in turn, might help you to finally win over Princess Peach and maybe get her to marry you!!!
If winning the affections of Princess Peach was the end result, then perhaps you could tolerate swapping with Pit after all.
After thinking it over, you decided that it would probably be best if you were to swap both bodies and lives with Pit. Technically, you only had to swap lives to accomplish your goal, but if what the manual said was true, then you'd still have your own body... and you knew that you wouldn't look good in a toga (even if no one else knew that it was you).
Besides; taking Pit's body as well might aid you in your deception.
Pointing the remote as the hopelessly lost angel, you prepared to press the buttons and initiate your plan.
