Looking down at yourself, and the pink dress you were wearing, you smile a little and say to yourself "Why not." When else would you be able to dress up like a princess and not have the guys make fun of you? Well, with this remote it could technically whenever you wanted, but you had the outfit right now, so why not keep it for now. And that's exactly what you decide to do.
Now there was the question of what to do next. You were still curious about how the remote worked, so you could still take it your room to try and take it apart and analyse it, however that seemed kind of risky if you were keeping this swap. You could potentially end up breaking something inside the remote if you weren't careful, and leave you stuck with Peach's clothes, or worse, perform some sort of random swaps on you without being able to control it. Alternatively, a much safer form of experimentation given the situation would be to actually use the remote. After seeing what it could do you did want to see the other buttons in action as well. Peach was still within view, so you could still swap with her if you wanted, or you could go find someone else to swap with.
Of course, swapping all sorts of things would also make it complicated if you wanted to swap everything back to normal. You could just stick with Peach's dress for now. Supposedly the remote made everyone believe it was normal for you to wear Peach's clothes and vice versa, something you were inclined to believe thanks to Peach's lack of a reaction, so you always just see how much your life had been changed to adjust for your new attire, and your lack of any weapons or your Power Suit. You could try going to the gym to test out how well you could fight in the dress. Without any of your weapons, you'd probably need some new special moves, possibly some of Peach's old ones.
