Food and Retaliation

Rena felt her stomach growling and then rubbed her stomach. "I guess that makes up my mind for me." Rena decided to head to the buffet since she was still hungry. Hey, she was rich now, she could afford it. Once she got to the buffet, Rena found some fresh fish and immediately started going to work on it, leaving the bones in a neat little pile. "So good." She said with ecstasy.
It was good, after all, as a stage hand she was once off limits to this kind of high quality food. She even dipped some fish into mustard and before she knew it, the fish was gone. Rena let out a slight belch and then covered her mouth. "Maybe I better stop it. If I eat all this, I'm going to get... hey, it's my body." As Rena was eating, she was about to be interrupted.
"RENA!" Rena stopped eating as a steak bone was sticking out of her mouth and let out a groan. She saw that hack Dufont coming forward and he was steaming mad. "You lazy cat! Stuffing your face at a time like this, and so close to showtime! You better drop what you're doing right now or else!" Rena spat out the T-bone and cracked a smirk as she turned around. "Or else what Alexander the Not so Great?"
Dufont gives a glare Rena's way as the patrons look on in awe. "What was that?" Rena walkes in front of Dufont and hisses as she shows her claws. "You heard me. I'm sick of your crap Dufont. I'm done being a slave. You're a no-talent hack whose threats are as empty as Homer Simpson's head. But I've hit the jackpot now. I don't need you any more. In fact, you were the one who needed me. Go soak your head up that top hat loser!" To get her point across, Rena picks up a pie from the buffet table and splats it right in Dufont's face as the magician yells.
Everyone laughs as Dufont runs off and Rena gives a satisfied smile. Now she'll never have to deal with that creep anymore.
