After lengthy consideration Cindy finally decides to bring it up with her parents. She gathers the courage to so and when they're eating dinner the next day she speaks up. ''Umm, mom and dad...I want to talk about something.'' she starts, nervously. ''Yes honey?'' her mom says and looks at her daughter. ''Well, I kinda...well not even kinda, I've noticed that I miss wearing diapers'' she blurts out, her face turning red.
Her parents give each other a surprised look, appearing to be confused about why their eleven-year old daughter would want to wear diapers again. ''I've noticed that you're interested in reading my parenting magazines, but I didn't expect you to actually want to wear diapers.'' her mom answers. ''So are you guys...angry?'' Cindy asks timidly. ''No, no, not at all. Just surprised.'' her dad says.
Later in the evening Cindy's parents discuss the situation and how they should handle it. ''I've read that it's not that uncommon for older kids to miss the time they were in diapers and want to wear them again.'' her mom says and continues ''And it's not like wanting to wear them is harmful or anything.'' ''Yeah, that's true'' her dad answers. ''So, should we give her the option to try wearing them for a week or so? To see if it's really that nice. Who knows, maybe she'll change her mind after giving it a try.'' he suggests. Her mom agrees to the idea and goes to Cindy's room.
She knocks the door and enters. ''So Cindy, dad and I were talking. We figured that if you want to wear diapers again we'll give you the chance to wear them for a week so you can make up your mind about whether you still like wearing them or not.'' she says. Cindy is surprised, the chance of wearing diapers again would be a dream come true but at the same time she hesitates a little. ''So, what do you say?'' her mom asks.
