Jack looked out the window at his own house, hoping to spot Lacy in his life and switch back. Instead, he noticed someone walking down the street. It was his crush, Kelsey. She was wearing a baby blue blouse, jeggings, and wedge heels. Her blonde hair danced gently in the light breeze. She was texting someone as she was walking, and appeared to be in a hurry.
Jack quickly came up with an idea. What if he could swap with Kelsey, ask himself (currently Lacy in his place) on a date, and THEN switch everyone back to normal? Then when Kelsey was back in her own life, she would remember it as if SHE had asked Jack out.
Looking back at his window, he saw that the curtain was still closed. Forming a half-frown, half-smile, he aimed the device at Kelsey, and swapped places with her.
