Alone

You observed her for a few minutes, and she didn't seem to interact with anyone. You decided to approach.

"Can I help you find anything?" you asked

"I'm not sure. I have a Halloween party to go to, but I don't know what to dress up as." she said

"Well if it helps, I think you'd look good in anything." you replied

"Thanks." she replied, blushing a little

"Tell you what, I have a challenge for you. If you win, you can pick any costume you want, on the house." you said

"What's the catch?" she asked

"If you lose, you have to grant me one small favour." you said

"Hmmm I don't know…" she said

"If it helps, you can refuse the favour if you think I'm asking too much." you said

"Okay, let's do it. What's the challenge?" she asked

"I'm going to try to hypnotize you. If I fail, you win, and if I succeed, you lose." you said

She cocked her head to the side curiously.

"But hypnosis doesn't really exist." she said thoughtfully

You smiled.

"Then I guess that costume is as good as yours." you said

She smiled back.

"So where do we do this?" she asked

You lead her to the quiet back section of the store.

"Just close your eyes and relax. Take deep breaths." you instructed

She complied, and you stepped behind her.

"Now softly count backwards from 10." you said

She did, and as soon as she reached 0, you tapped her neck, and she became entranced. Your talent is impeccable, but there's something special about this girl. How do you decide to progress from here?

You have the following choices:

1. She lost. Continue as planned

2. You like her. Let her believe she won
