As your mother operates the machine, you can hear the machine starting up. You're waiting inside one of the pods with your sister standing in the other one. If you could you would have opened the door and ran away as fast as you can, but the thought of Maddy perhaps ending up injured if something would go wrong here makes you stay still. You just pray it won't be too bad. The machine then seems to work as a bright light appears and you feel yourself floating away like there was nothing holding you back. It was a wonderful feeling, like you could do anything you want. But then you feel yourself being sucked into something and the next thing you know you're standing in the pod again your legs a little wobbly.
The door of the pod opens up again and you quickly walk outside. Your mother and your sister look at you like they're expecting something..
"What? I told you this thing didn't..." Your words stop as you hear your higher voice. Your mother seems to be taller too and when you look down you see the blue tank top and white shorts Maddy was wearing before. At the other end you can see your body exiting the pod, seemingly as confused as you are.
"This is different." Maddy says as she feels around her crotch.
