The wall suddenly started to enlarge.

You were very confused, as the wall seemed to get larger and wider. And then you finally understood what the voice was and where it came from. Because the "bronze wall" before you just moved up, and then fell down 40 meters back. And then light suddenly blinded you, because the shadow you were standing in was gone. You then looked up and realised which voice you heard.
It was a gigantic pink female Goomba, the same one you saw with that device in Petalburg! Then she started talking.
"Well... You probably are confused and all, but let me explain. My name is Goombella, and I shrunk you to be my toy. Unfortunately for you, I pressed the shrink button too long, and you are going to be shrinking for a long time... Even now you're way too small for me to get any pleasure from. I doubt I'd ever feel you. I haven't build a Growth Ray yet, so I can't make you bigger, and I also have no idea how small will you get. As such, I decided to..."
